We have broadband internet
available and a wireless network to enable campers to surf the net and
pick up their email from their camper, tent or cabin.

Mountain Bike Hire
Mountain bikes, helmets and
locks are available to hire. This is a great way to explore the local
area, you could even follow the banks of the river Avon right into the
centre of Christchurch.

Beach
It's just 350 metres to the
stunning sandy South Brighton beach that is free from commercial development
and ideal for swimming, surfing and long walks along the spit and through
the dunes. Surfing and kite boarding are just some of the activites available
close by.

Estuary
Surrounded by the South Brighton Reserve the camp backs on to the estuary
which is a haven for Herons, Kingfishers, Black Swans, Cormorants and
many species of gulls and ducks. There are many walks along the estuary
with a view of the beautiful Port Hills and Banks Peninsula.

Public Transport
Just outside the gates a bus will take you into the centre of Christchurch
every 15 minutes.
|

Dining
The Bach Bar / Restaurant is a great place for a drink or a meal out and
is just 800 metres from the camp. There are several takeaway restaurants
within a kilometre of the camp. New Brighton offers a variety of restaurants
to suit most tastes including Mexican, Indian, Vegetarian, Chinese and
Pizzaria.
